Allegations of Mismanagement and Favoritism by Khattak-era Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government Surface

 

A wave of accusations has swept through Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, targeting the recruitment practices and resource allocation during Pervez Khattak's tenure as Chief Minister from 2013 to 2018. The Sports Ministry, in particular, is under scrutiny for potentially unfair hiring favoring PTI workers, allegedly extending beyond local body candidates.

Further concerns have been raised regarding the promotion of teachers in higher education institutions, allegedly based on connections to Khattak's political faction, which reportedly continues to hold sway. These claims suggest nepotism and a misuse of government resources for personal gain.

The accusations don't stop there. The writer implicates a group within Imran Khan's PTI known as "Ibn al-waqt", alleging they gained undue influence and secured lucrative positions based on financial clout during Khan's premiership. Their involvement is said to have extended beyond the party level, reaching deep into government ministries.
