Wheelchair Cricket Champions from Peshawar Await Unreceived Prize Money

Pakistani players who emerged victorious in the recent wheelchair cricket championship held in Nepal are yet to receive the promised prize money. Despite being declared champions and assured a reward of one and a half lakh rupees, these players from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been unable to claim their rightful prize.

Efforts to contact the relevant authorities have been unsuccessful, leaving the players, coach, and manager in a state of uncertainty. The members of the winning team are questioning the appropriate office where they can claim their prize.

The situation highlights the lack of transparency surrounding the allocation of funds by the Sports Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which was established to support sports development in the province.
