In a surprising turn of events, the sports community is abuzz with speculation over potential shifts in weightlifting policy as the Director General of Sports undergoes a change. Questions loom large over the future of support from the provincial sports directorate towards private gyms, with concerns raised about the utilization of public tax money for these programs.

Key stakeholders within the sports sector are openly questioning the rationale behind various organizations rallying behind the sports directorate of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The legitimacy of such associations is under scrutiny, with calls for dissolution if found to be in the wrong. However, an intriguing twist emerges as doubts arise regarding whether the sports directorate could align itself with another organization.

The recent weightlifting competition held on August 15, 2023, at a private gym adds complexity to the ongoing saga. Curiosity surrounds the decision to host the event in a private gym rather than a government weightlifting facility, prompting inquiries into the funding sources behind such choices.

Unsettling revelations also raise concerns about the Regional Sports Officer's involvement, questioning whether funds are being personally contributed and if denial is a viable option.
