Misuse of FATA Youth Funds by KPK Youth Department, Peshawar University Students Sent in the Name of FATA
In a concerning revelation, it has come to light that the Youth Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) has been sending Peshawar University students in the name of FATA for the past two years. This misuse of FATA youth funds has been occurring with the department's approval.
Reports indicate that a collaboration between the Youth
Department and a special organization is facilitating this process. Shockingly,
two department officers have been directly involved in this misuse of FATA
funds. These funds, earmarked for the betterment of the FATA region, have been
used inappropriately.
Sources familiar with the matter have disclosed that, under
the pretext of supporting FATA, Peshawar University students are intermittently
sent on trips to Lahore and Islamabad. This operation is conducted with the
cooperation of officers responsible for the Youth Department's operations,
accounts, and budget.
It is worth noting that these funds rightfully belong to FATA, where there are significant challenges due to the impact of terrorism. However, the officials within the Youth Department appear to be turning a blind eye to this issue. As a result, FATA's funds are being diverted for other purposes, leaving FATA's youth officers in the dark regarding the whereabouts of their allocated funds.
