Kungfu Logo Surprisingly Replaces Taekwondo Symbol at Provincial Sports Directorate in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
In a curious turn of events at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa sports
scene, the provincial sports directorate has swapped the familiar Taekwondo
symbol for a Kungfu logo on the information board next to its main gate.
Despite the absence of Kungfu sports experts and classes in the region, the
unexpected change has left both sports enthusiasts and citizens puzzled.
It appears that not only is Kungfu not a prominent feature
in the Ministry of Sports, but the incident also raises questions about the
knowledge of the painters or flex designers responsible for the information
board. This switch not only highlights the scarcity of understanding about Kung
Fu but also implies a lack of familiarity with Taekwondo.
Khalid Mehmood, the Director General of the Provincial Directorate
of sports , orchestrated the alteration to enhance citizen convenience. The
directive was to relocate the information board outside, providing details
about various sports. However, the unintended consequence was the replacement
of the Taekwondo symbol with a Kungfu emblem on the flex. Adding to the
peculiar scenario, it seems that even birds took notice and left their mark on
the new Kungfu symbol.
The incident raises questions about the decision-making
process and the need for greater awareness regarding the representation of
different sports symbols. Citizens are left to ponder this unexpected shift and
hope for clarity regarding the rationale behind the change.
