Exciting Inter-Regional Volleyball Championship Set to Thrill in Peshawar

The Provincial Sports Directorate is gearing up to host the Inter-Regional Volleyball Championship at the Pakistan Sports Board and Coaching Center in Peshawar after November 10. Seven different regions, including the Peshawar Volleyball Academy, will be participating in this thrilling event.

 

Notably, players from Wali Volleyball Academy are also set to join the competition, and the final arrangements are currently underway. To ensure the selection of top-notch talent, a comprehensive selection process is ongoing across various regions. District Sports Officers have been tasked with identifying and recruiting promising under-20 volleyball players from their respective areas for participation in the regional competitions.

 

According to sources within the sports directorate, a rigorous selection process will determine the best team among these eight, with the selected team members receiving a monthly stipend for approximately one year. This promising team will proudly represent their regions in the upcoming championship.

    The Mohmand Bajaur Aman Cycle Race, aimed at spreading the message of peace, is set to take place on November 17, 18, and 19. Cyclists hailing from all four provinces and Islamabad are gearing up for the three-day championship, with participation from various teams, including those from Pakistan Army, Higher Education Commission, WAPDA, and Railway.   The event, under the watchful eye of technical officials, boasts a distinguished lineup, featuring Colonel Retd Jahanzeb Niazi from Balochistan, Gul Muhammad Kakar from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nasir Khan Mohmand, and Amjad Nawaz Khan from WAPDA.
