Promoting Camaraderie and Healthy Lifestyle Among Legal Professionals

 

PESHAWAR, PAKISTAN – The District Bar Association Peshawar (DBA Peshawar) is delighted to announce its upcoming annual sports fair, a month-long extravaganza dedicated to the legal community. Scheduled for the third week of December, the event will feature a variety of sports competitions, bringing together both male and female lawyers from Peshawar.

 

The sports fair aims to foster camaraderie and promote a healthy lifestyle among legal professionals, encouraging them to take a break from their demanding work schedules and engage in physical activity. The competitions will span cricket, volleyball, table tennis, archery, athletics, and football, providing opportunities for lawyers of all skill levels to participate and enjoy the spirit of sportsmanship.

 

In preparation for the event, DBA Peshawar General Secretary Iftikhar Hussain Samudran recently visited the Peshawar Sports Complex to discuss arrangements with Administrator Jafar Shah. Due to ongoing construction at the complex, it was decided that the opening ceremony would be held at the Shah Tahmas Football Stadium.

 

Administrator Jafar Shah expressed full support for the event, pledging to ensure its success. He and Mr. Samudran discussed the meticulous arrangements required to host a memorable and enjoyable sports fair for the legal community.

    The Mohmand Bajaur Aman Cycle Race, aimed at spreading the message of peace, is set to take place on November 17, 18, and 19. Cyclists hailing from all four provinces and Islamabad are gearing up for the three-day championship, with participation from various teams, including those from Pakistan Army, Higher Education Commission, WAPDA, and Railway.   The event, under the watchful eye of technical officials, boasts a distinguished lineup, featuring Colonel Retd Jahanzeb Niazi from Balochistan, Gul Muhammad Kakar from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nasir Khan Mohmand, and Amjad Nawaz Khan from WAPDA.
