Wushu Players Injured During Inter-District Competition Due to Karate Mat

Wushu players at an inter-district competition in Peshawar Sports Complex faced difficulties on October 26 due to the use of a karate mat. Several players fell while going to the kick position and lost points. One player lost consciousness after hitting his head on the wood.

 

Some players complained of back pain after the competition. The Wushu Association has ordered a separate mat from China, but it has disappeared from Adil Khan swimming pool.

 

The Wushu Association has complained about the use of the karate mat and the disappearance of the Wushu mat.
