Weightlifter Salahuddin Dismissed by Provincial Sports Directorate Despite Prominent Position

Salahuddin, a weightlifter who has made a name for himself in the field since 2002, has been unemployed for the past four months after being dismissed by the provincial sports directorate without any reason.

 

Salahuddin, who came second in Pakistan's weightlifting rankings, has been volunteering to train new athletes in the gym of the Sports Directorate for eleven years. Despite his achievements, he could not be included in the list of daily wage employees of the Provincial Sports Directorate.

 

The sports directorate is supporting a conflicting and opposing organization, and is giving the equipment of the provincial sports directorate to this group. The directorate has also employed a weightlifter belonging to the same group on salary in Salahuddin's place, even though the opposition group's weightlifter has only competed at the local level and has no position.
