Qayyum Stadium Boxing Academy Coach Trains Junior Athletes to Shine at National and International Competitions

 

 

Muhammad Afzal Khan, the qualified coach of Boxing Academy of Sports Directorate, said that it is a good goal to train junior athletes in boxing. He said that children should be mentally and physically fit, but they will be able to shine their name and the country's name in national and international competitions.

 

Afzal Khan has been working as a daily wage coach in the sports department since 2007. During this time, he has given basic boxing training to many talented male and female players, who have gone on to win medals for the province and the country.

 

Afzal Khan himself has been an excellent boxer. He started playing boxing in 1993 and has won many provincial and national level competitions. He has also competed against Turkmenistan and won a medal.

 

Afzal Khan said that he came to coaching after his boxing career and has conducted several coaching courses under the supervision of Pakistan Boxing Federation. He has a solid knowledge of boxing principles and techniques, which he uses to train the junior players at the Boxing Academy of Sports Directorate of Qayyum Stadium.

 

Afzal Khan believes that it is important to give the junior athletes the opportunity to participate in various competitions and exchanges. This would help them to gain experience and improve their skills.

 

Afzal Khan's work at the Boxing Academy of Sports Directorate is helping to increase the boxing culture of Pakistan and especially Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He is training the next generation of boxing champions, who will go on to represent the country at the highest level.
