Pakistan Wheelchair Cricket Team Wins Asia Cup, Despite Lack of Support from Government

Pakistan's wheelchair cricket team recently won the Asia Cup in Kathmandu, Nepal, despite facing a lack of support from the government. These special players, who often face discrimination and neglect, have raised the nation's head with their achievement.

 

However, while ordinary players who achieve such feats are often rewarded with cash prizes, cars, and plots, the wheelchair cricket team has not received any such recognition. They also lack access to basic equipment, such as specialized wheelchairs.

 

This stepmotherly treatment of para-athletes is a sign that there is no justice for people with disabilities in Pakistan. We urge the everyone to raise their voices for the rights of these special players.
