Kp Sports DG Recruits Own Favorites for Coaching Positions, Daily Wage Coaches Complain

The recruitment process for various sports coaches has begun at the Provincial Sports Directorate of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on the orders of the new Director General. The coaches being hired include one for the men's gym, two for the women's gym, and two for the cricket academy. Other sports coaches are being hired on a daily wage basis.

 

These coaches were dismissed four months ago due to a lack of funds, but the recruitment process has been restarted due to a decrease in the Sports Directorate's income and complaints from players. However, in this recruitment process, the new Director General's chosen officers are again bringing in coaches of their choice.

 

Many daily wage coaches are complaining about this, as coaches in weightlifting and athletics, including the senior coach in the cricket academy, have not been rehired. In weightlifting, the staff of a private gym that is rented in the building of the Pakistan Sports Board has been hired. Similarly, the athletics daily wage coach has not been hired, and the athletes academy has been opened for them.

 

The recruitment of favorite coaches has created a new problem, even as the Sports Directorate's income continues to decrease and players complain. The daily wage coaches are in contact with the union of class four employees regarding their re-employment, and they are also considering protesting outside the Sports Directorate.
