DSO Peshawar Considers Installing Electricity Meters in Residential Quarters

The District Sports Office (DSO) Peshawar is considering proposals to install electricity check meters in the houses of employees residing in the grounds of Shah Tahmas Football Stadium. This includes employees from DSO Chitral. The aim of this is to enable employees to monitor their electricity consumption and make payments themselves.

The move comes after a recent raid on the premises revealed high electricity bills. The DSO is now looking to ensure that employees are only paying for the electricity they use.

In addition to installing electricity meters, the DSO is also considering providing gas connections for domestic use. This would be done by using funds from the Deputy Commissioner Peshawar.

However, it is unclear how gas connections would be installed given the ban on new connections. Additionally, there is no gas connection in the Provincial Sports Directorate, so it is unclear why a gas connection would be needed at the DSO.

The DSO is located in Shah Tahmas Football Stadium. The only building on the premises is used by the DSO, Regional Sports Officer, and the imam and his sone  of the mosque living in two room in shah tehmas football ground. There is no hostel on the premises.
