District Sports Officer of Lower Dir removes post about Arshad Khan after criticism from badminton players

The District Sports Officer (DSO) of Lower Dir has removed a

post about Arshad Khan, a student of Upper Dir Manjai, who reached the quarter finals in the National U-19 Badminton Championship in Karachi. The DSO had posted the success of Arshad Khan on the account of Sports Office Lower Dir and put his photos on social media.

After the players of Lower Dir protested, the DSO of Lower Dir removed the photo posted on social media. Badminton players from Upper Dir criticized the DSO in their comments on the social media page and said that Arshad Khan is not a character from Lower Dir but he is a student of Dawood Hameed and with the efforts of the school principal Nisar Khan he got an opportunity to play badminton. Hameed has been providing him with all the facilities, and DSO's move is regrettable.
