DG Sports and Youth Director Absent from First E-Khuli Kachhari

The first E-Khuli Kachhari (open court) of the Sports Directorate was held on Tuesday, but the Director General of Sports and the Youth Director were absent. The Project Director, who is on deputation, represented the Sports Directorate.

During the Kachhari, complaints were received about coaches taking money from players, receiving money from coaches for cricket, squash, badminton, and one-to-one games, and the occupation of Sports Directorate land in Mardan.

The Secretary of Sports responded well to the complaints regarding various sports projects, but many people were unable to complain about not receiving grants and aid from the association. There was also a complaint about non-payment of money to the winning players of the National Games.

Some citizens suggested that the Secretary of Sports Open Kachhari be conducted in Peshawar, Charsadda, and Mardan to make it more convenient for citizens.

The absence of the Director General of Sports and the Youth Director from the first E-Khali Kachhari is disappointing. It is important for senior officials to be present at these events to listen to the concerns of citizens and address their grievances.
