Urgent Concerns Regarding Sports Directorate in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Dear Director General of Sports in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,

I hope this letter finds you well. I have made multiple attempts to meet with you, but unfortunately, I have been unable to do so. It appears that your schedule is quite hectic due to the high number of people seeking your attention. Additionally, I understand that you have requested updates on the ongoing projects in various districts within your department. In light of these circumstances, I feel compelled to share crucial information regarding the Sports Directorate through this correspondence.

I would like to draw your attention to the number of daily wage employees currently working in the Sports Directorate, as well as their length of service. It has come to my attention that the recruitment of employees within the Sports Directorate of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been influenced by personal connections, affiliations with political parties, and nepotism. This raises concerns about the fairness of the selection process.

The daily wage employees, who are primarily responsible for security-related tasks, are not provided with adequate training or safety gear. On the other hand, permanent security staff members are assigned ground duties and receive comparatively better salaries. The daily wage employees, who earn a meager amount of twenty-five thousand rupees, often face delays in receiving their payments.

It has also been observed that some employees who have been working in the sports directorate for a considerable period have neglected their duties and merely collect their salaries due to their familial connections within the department. I urge you to scrutinize these employee lists and investigate the duration of this practice, as it includes the names of senior personnel as well.

Esteemed Director General,

I bring to your attention the irregular employment practices within the Sports Directorate of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Certain individuals have been hired for various trades without possessing the necessary skills. I encourage you to verify the expertise of electricians and plumbers hired across different complexes, including the sports directorate, in order to ascertain their suitability for their designated roles. It is evident that these employees have burdened the provincial sports directorate for years, as most of them are associated with the business sector, resulting in their neglect of duties.

Moreover, I believe it is crucial to evaluate the performance of these employees over the past six months. Additionally, the records of those engaged in fraudulent activities should be examined to determine whether they have fulfilled their responsibilities or simply exploited their positions for personal gain.

Sir,

It is imperative to review the data and records of the employees within the Sports Directorate of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Lately, there have been instances where employees arrive at ten o'clock instead of the designated eight o'clock, despite clear office orders specifying the correct reporting time. Although a thumb attendance system was previously installed in the establishment, it has since been damaged. The former Director General implemented a biometric system to track employee attendance, but this rule was enforced only for general employees and not for those with special privileges, resulting in manual attendance records. Notably, some specific coaches are also complicit in this practice due to their connections with higher authorities, which has led to a disregard for the established regulations.

Similarly, it is crucial to address the issue of fuel management for the generators in the sports directorate. Considering the recent increase in petrol prices, certain individuals within the department have been misusing generator fuel with the consent of their superiors. They divert this fuel for personal use, including cleaning it and utilizing it in their own vehicles. Among those involved are individuals who neglect their duties but aim to please others and ensure their cooperation.

Dear Director General,

There are numerous other matters that require attention, and I assure you that I will strive to keep you informed in the future. Ultimately,
