 Peshawar - The long-standing issue of funds within the sports department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has finally been resolved, bringing relief to daily wage employees.

After a two-month period of uncertainty and financial strain, these employees are expected to receive their salaries within the next couple of days. The delay in salary disbursement had been causing significant mental stress for both daily wage and monthly employees.

Considering the province's financial situation, the finance department had initially been hesitant to allocate funds. However, yesterday, the finance department approved the necessary funds for the sports directorate in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

This development ensures that daily wage employees will soon receive their overdue salaries. Additionally, it is anticipated that salaries will be disbursed to these employees in time for Eid, further enhancing the festive spirit.

This resolution underscores the commitment of the sports department to prioritize employee welfare and fair compensation. By addressing the financial challenges and approving the required funds, the department demonstrates efficient administration and a focus on supporting its workforce.
