Judo Team Excelling at National Games Meets with DG Sports for Recognition and Support

Peshawar - Masood Ahmed, accompanied by the gold and bronze medal winners from the Judo Association, had the privilege of meeting Director General of Sports, Khalid Mahmood, at his office. The Director General extended his congratulations to Saber and expressed his pride in witnessing their remarkable performance, which brought recognition to the province. Saber has been selected to represent the province in the upcoming Judo competitions scheduled for June, and preparations for the training camp are already underway.

 

During the meeting, female players also raised their concerns regarding the need for dedicated playing and practice spaces. In response, DG Sports Khalid Mahmood assured them of his full cooperation in addressing this matter, promising support and assistance.

Cyclists hailing from all four provinces and Islamabad are gearing up for the three-day championship, with participation from various teams, including those from Pakistan Army, Higher Education Commission, WAPDA, and Railway.   The event, under the watchful eye of technical officials, boasts a distinguished lineup, featuring Colonel Retd Jahanzeb Niazi from Balochistan, Gul Muhammad Kakar from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nasir Khan Mohmand, and Amjad Nawaz Khan from WAPDA.
