Peshawar - Fawad, an international squash player, suffered an injury at the Qamar Zaman Squash Court in the Peshawar Sports Complex. He underwent a private operation after being initially treated at Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar.

 

Due to the severity of the injury, a private doctor performed the operation to mend Fawad's fractured left hand at midnight. While recovery is expected to commence, it is anticipated that Fawad will not regain full functionality in his hand for approximately a year.

 

Sources reveal that Fawad's father, who works in a local workshop, faces significant financial constraints. Consequently, the police have displayed limited interest in the incident.
