Demand for Removal of Watchman at Cricket Academy Gains Momentum

Peshawar... Players associated with Muazullah Khan Cricket Academy are urging the Director General of Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to take immediate action and remove the watchman stationed at the academy.

The players claim that the watchman not only mistreats young athletes but also resorts to verbal abuse on occasions, aggravating the situation. According to the players, the appointment of a watchman at the academy's entrance, responsible for checking identification cards and fees, has caused unnecessary inconvenience.

These procedures are typically carried out at the main gate, and players are granted access to the cricket club after verification. The players express their astonishment, stating that no watchman was ever employed at the academy before. Moreover, they highlight the alarming fact that smoking is openly permitted in the presence of coaches, which has raised concerns about the overall environment.

The incident involving a father reprimanding the watchman for mistreating a player has further intensified the distress, particularly due to its negative impact on the children.
