 The construction of cricket pitches at the Kohat Sports Complex has officially begun, and we couldn't be more thrilled! This marks a significant development for aspiring cricketers in the area, as the lack of proper pitches previously hindered progress.

But now, thanks to the new Director General of Sports, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, things are looking up! In the initial phase of the project, four pitches are currently being prepared, and they offer the perfect training ground for individuals seeking to refine their cricketing skills. But that's not all!

The comprehensive project aims to establish 1000 sports facilities across the area, including cricket academies and the appointment of qualified coaches. We're thrilled that progress is underway to provide accessible and well-equipped spaces for cricket enthusiasts! We know that some locations are still awaiting the completion of basic infrastructure, but we're confident that the progress being made is going to make a significant difference for the sports development in the region.

With cricket being such a popular sport in Pakistan, it's great to see the efforts being made to provide the right facilities and coaching for aspiring cricketers. Cyclists hailing from all four provinces and Islamabad are gearing up for the three-day championship, with participation from various teams, including those from Pakistan Army, Higher Education Commission, WAPDA, and Railway.   The event, under the watchful eye of technical officials, boasts a distinguished lineup, featuring Colonel Retd Jahanzeb Niazi from Balochistan, Gul Muhammad Kakar from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nasir Khan Mohmand, and Amjad Nawaz Khan from WAPDA.
