Quetta, Pakistan - The National Games witnessed the commencement of exhilarating archery competitions at Beotam University. Syed Aqil Shah, Senior Vice President of the Pakistan Olympic Association, graced the opening ceremony as the chief guest and inaugurated the competitions with an impressive arrow shot.

 

Before taking the decisive shot, Syed Aqil Shah engaged in a light-hearted conversation with an archer on the field, inquiring about the difficulty of pulling the string. Archery Federation Secretary, Zulfiqar Butt, chuckled in response, emphasizing the challenging nature of the task. Undeterred, Syed Aqil Shah confidently pulled the string, officially marking the beginning of the archery competitions.

 

Furthermore, Syed Aqil Shah also inaugurated a technical official refresher course organized by the Archery Federation. Expressing the significance of such initiatives, he highlighted the importance of enhancing technical expertise in the sport. He emphasized the need to prioritize archery and invest more attention and resources into its development.

 

During the event, Syed Aqil Shah announced a talent hunt for archery under the supervision of Sara Khan and Waqar, aimed at nurturing and showcasing the province's archery talent. Subsequently, provincial-level competitions will be held, providing a platform for talented archers to demonstrate their skills.
