Quetta - The Beautm Sports Complex in Quetta witnessed the commencement of men's individual archery competitions as part of the National Games. The event began on a patriotic note, with the players standing tall and united, their bows poised, as the National Anthem played in the background.

Zulfikar Butt, the Secretary of the Archery Federation of Pakistan, took charge and briefed the athletes about the tournament. He emphasized the importance of focus and concentration during the games and issued a directive regarding the usage of mobile phones, urging the participants to refrain from using them while competing.

Butt also shed light on the challenging weather conditions, stating that the air pressure was relatively low during the men's competitions. In contrast, the women archers faced a significant hurdle the day before due to high winds. Acknowledging the women's efforts, Butt declared that General Arif Hasan had generously allocated a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 for the highest scorer in the individual events.

In a remarkable display of sportsmanship, Abdul Rehman, Pakistan's top-ranked archer and a renowned World Qualified Archery Coach from WAPDA, announced a personal reward of Rs. 3,000 for the individual achieving the highest score.

The National Games continue to be a platform where the nation's finest athletes converge to showcase their talent and compete for glory. The archery competitions have commenced with fervor, and spectators eagerly anticipate witnessing the exceptional skills of the participants.
