The auction of old stuff in Sports Directorate held on May 3

Peshawar ... Directorate of Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has given an advertisement for the re-auction of the balls removed from the grounds at different levels in the Sports Complex, according to which this auction will be held on May 3 in the Peshawar Sports Complex, for which a call deposit of five lakhs has been fixed.

According to the advertisement issued by DG Sports, the related irons and other goods are to be picked up within twenty days. Earlier, the administration of Peshawar Sports Complex had auctioned the irons and other goods and the last auction fetched 16 lakh rupees.

However, the CDR was not submitted by some contractors, after which the auction was canceled and the management of Peshawar Sports Complex shifted most of the old equipment to Mardan Sports Complex, while the walls of the Cricket Academy were also made of the same old iron and steel. Made of iron and now the remaining items are being auctioned...
