Pakistan Archery Coach Hafiz Abdur Rehman Honored by IOC President for Completing International Coaching Enrichment Certification Program

 

Geneva  . Hafiz Abdur Rehman, the National Head Coach of the Pakistan Archery Federation, has received recognition from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for his achievements in archery coaching. He recently completed the International Coaching Enrichment Certification Program (ICECP) offered by the University of Delaware in partnership with the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee, IOC, WA and POA.

 

The ICECP is a highly respected coaching education program that attracts coaches from around the world. Hafiz was one of 44 coaches from 27 countries who completed the intensive four-module program, which focused on improving coaching infrastructure in their home countries. He graduated from the ICECP class of 2020-2023 with a special ceremony at the IOC headquarters in Lausanne.

 

Hafiz, who is also a certified coach of WA, USA Archery, and IOC, has played a pivotal role in developing archery standards in Pakistan. He has recently trained coaches in Pakistan and started a series of archery coaching courses. He is a qualified National Archery Coach from World Archery and a Level 3 and Level 1 & 2 Trainer in the USA.

 

The President of the Pakistan Olympic Association, the President of the Archery Federation, and the Secretary General have all extended their congratulations to Hafiz for his accomplishments. His success in the ICECP program is a significant achievement for Pakistani archery and a testament to Hafiz's dedication to coaching excellence.
