Imam Expresses Anger over Donations stories for Temporary Mosque in Shah Tahamas

Peshawar , Imams in Peshawar's Shah Tahamas area are expressing anger and concern over the collection of donations for a temporary government mosque.

The mosque is set to be built for sportsmen in the area, but there is no record of the donations received from citizens in the name of Allah's house. Both the District Sports Office Peshawar and the town administration have remained silent on the matter.

imams quarreled with employees of the District Sports Office Peshawar ahead of Eid, after news of the donations' collection was leaked to the media.

There are no clear permissions for the collection of donations in the mosque, located within the limits of Town One. Additionally, the donations are not being counted towards the construction of Allah's house.

The sports directorate, including the District Sports Office Peshawar and the Regional Sports Office Peshawar, have not addressed the matter. Similarly, the Town One administration has also not taken any action.

The Pesh Imam and his two sons occupy two air-conditioned rooms in the District Sports Office Peshawar. The office is also facing a shortage of funds, and electricity meters have not been installed.

As a result, stolen electricity is being used in the DSO, RSO, Shah Tahamas football stadium, and even in the employees' homes. The same is true for the mosque.

The situation has caused concern among residents, who are calling for transparency in the collection of donations and a clear plan for the construction of the government mosque.

The lack of accountability in the collection and use of donations is a worrying development for the local community.
