Donation campaign start in shah Tehmas football stadium for mosque reconstruction

Peshawar, A donation campaign has been launched to provide a permanent status to a temporary mosque located in the government building of District Sports Office (DSO) in Peshawar, Pakistan.

The mosque was built for sportsmen to have a place for prayer during games, and reportedly, no NOC was obtained from Town One.

The DSO is now collecting donations for the littering of the mosque's roof and furnishing.

Donations are being solicited from shopkeepers of Shahi Bagh Road and football players who attend the Shah Tahamas Football Stadium after prayers

The DSO has been using stolen electricity for the past four months, as the meter broke down and there are no funds for a new one.

The news of this donation campaign has not been noticed by the Town One administration or the Sports Directorate of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It remains to be seen how a temporary mosque located in a government building can be made permanent through donations.
