22-member Pakhtunkhwa Hockey team selected for National Games as camp kicks off

 

Peshawar, Pakistan- Hockey Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced a 22-member hockey team that will represent the province in the upcoming National Games. The selection was made after a series of trials held yesterday in which senior hockey players from various districts of the province participated.

Former IGP Saeed Khan and Syed Zahir Shah, chairman of the Hockey Association, were present during the selection process. The selected players include Shoaib ` kher ullah , waleed , yasir  ` jamil , hamid from bannu , Ali from Peshawar, Farman, Yasir Ali, Umar, Afraz, Waqas, Ehsan, Ahmar, Saleem, Ismail, Sameer, Salahuddin, and Salman from Kohat, Usman from Shahid Abbottabad, Amir, Adil from Mardan, and Jameel Deer from Bonir.

The National Games are scheduled to start in the first phase of next month. The team will now begin their training camp to prepare for the competition.

The selection of the Pakhtunkhwa Hockey team has generated a buzz among sports enthusiasts in the region who are eagerly waiting for the games to kick off. The team's performance will be closely watched and will be a topic of discussion in sports news and forums across the country.
