Pakistan Sports Day Sports Festival concluded in Charsadda

Four different sports competitions were held, the closing ceremony was held at Padang Sports Stadium

The closing ceremony of Pakistan Day Sports Festival was held at Padang Sports Ground, Lt Col Naveed Abbas distributed prizes.

Charsadda... The closing ceremony of the Pakistan Day Sports Festival was held at the Parang Sports Grounds in which the final cricket match was played between the teams of Safar Khel and Khyber Tiger.

Deputy Commissioner Charsadda, Additional Deputy Commissioner Charsadda, DPO and other senior officials of the district administration and DSO Charsadda also participated in the closing ceremony.

The ceremony was officially started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, after which the National Anthem was played, in respect of which all the people present in the grounds stood respectfully.

Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Naveed Abbas distributed prizes to the winners and runners-up teams of football and cricket and presented honorary shields to Deputy Commissioner Charsadda, ADC Charsadda, DPO Charsadda and DSO Charsadda.  The youth included in it raised slogans of Pakistan Zindabad.

Football, badminton, volleyball and cricket competitions were held in these sports competitions organized by the district administration of Charsadda and the Pakistan Army.

Thirty-two teams of badminton, sixteen in cricket, sixteen in football while sixteen in volleyball team participated, the closing ceremony was held at Padang Sports Ground, Charsadda, in which the people of the area, especially the youth, participated in large numbers.

Deputy Commissioner Charsadda Adnan Farid has said that by settling the grounds, not only the youths engage in positive activities, but they stay away from terrorism including negative activities and we are trying to make the sports fields of the young generation of Charsadda possible.

DC Charsadda talking to journalists at the closing ceremony of the Pakistan Day Sports Festival held in Charsadda. On this occasion, Commanding Officer of Pakistan Army Lieutenant Colonel Naveed Abbas, ADC Samir Laghari, DSO Charsadda Tahsinullah and DPO Arif Khan were also present.

 Talking to the journalists, Deputy Commissioner Charsadda celebrated Pakistan Day. He expressed appreciation to the District Sports Officer Charsadda for organizing the sports festival and expressed hope that he will continue such activities in the future which will help the young generation to come forward in the field of sports.
He said that our main aim is to keep the sports grounds populated and such competitions will be held in the future as well.
