Cash prizes were also distributed to the archers who brought gold and silver in the ceremony held at the Sports Complex Peshawar, assuring future cooperation.


PESHAWAR...Individual member of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Olympic Association and former hockey player Imtiaz Afridi hailed the gold and silver medals of junior archers in the championship held in Lahore and called them the future archery of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 

Imtiaz Afridi, speaking at the ceremony held at Peshawar Sports Complex, said that he is very happy to see that young players are not only mastering a difficult sport like archery, but they are also making the name of the province bright.

Imtiaz Afridi encouraged young archer Maryam and said that she will prove to be the best female archer for the province in the future.
