Mudassar, Irsa Ali performed well in the DH competitions held in Lahore

 

Peshawar... The parents of Mudassar Muhammad and female archer Arsa Ali, who won the silver medal in the under-16 category in the National Archery Championship in Lahore, arrived last night.

The association with Pakistan Sports Board welcomed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa team with flowers. Both Irsa Ali and Mudassar Muhammad performed prominently in the National Archery Championship held in Lahore.

They both started their training and this was the beginning of their success, but two years ago the Pakistan Sports Board Peshawar Center banned archery and thus these players have started playing on the ground of the Provincial Sports Directorate.

Cyclists hailing from all four provinces and Islamabad are gearing up for the three-day championship, with participation from various teams, including those from Pakistan Army, Higher Education Commission, WAPDA, and Railway.   The event, under the watchful eye of technical officials, boasts a distinguished lineup, featuring Colonel Retd Jahanzeb Niazi from Balochistan, Gul Muhammad Kakar from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nasir Khan Mohmand, and Amjad Nawaz Khan from WAPDA.
