Archery Championship organized by DH has started in Lahore, Brigadier Waheed Gul Sati inaugurated.

Lahore.. 1st National Junior and 10th DH National Archery Championship has started in Lahore. The chief guest of the opening ceremony was formally inaugurated by Brigadier Waheed Gul Sati, administrator of DHA Lahore.

More than 132 archers from all over the country are participating in this competition which is being held at the grounds of EME located in DHA Phase 12. Eleven teams will participate in individual and team events, six departmental teams will participate in these competitions, while teams from four provinces including Gilgit-Baltistan are also participating.

Junior and senior competitions are also being held in these archery competitions. . Various bands from the four provinces entertained the fans in the opening ceremony.

This is the first time that a competition between junior players is also being conducted in it.

    The Mohmand Bajaur Aman Cycle Race, aimed at spreading the message of peace, is set to take place on November 17, 18, and 19. Cyclists hailing from all four provinces and Islamabad are gearing up for the three-day championship, with participation from various teams, including those from Pakistan Army, Higher Education Commission, WAPDA, and Railway.   The event, under the watchful eye of technical officials, boasts a distinguished lineup, featuring Colonel Retd Jahanzeb Niazi from Balochistan, Gul Muhammad Kakar from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nasir Khan Mohmand, and Amjad Nawaz Khan from WAPDA.
