Chief coach Jafar Shah along with senior officials of sports directorate were also present in the opening ceremony.

Peshawar... Inter Club Volleyball Championship has started. Director General Sports Khalid Khan was the chief guest of the opening ceremony. Salim Raza' volleyball coach Wasif Ali along with PSB officials were also present.

Director General Khalid Khan cut the ribbon and started the Interclub Volleyball Championship. Earlier, he was introduced to the players. Speaking to the players on this occasion, Director General Sports Khalid Khan welcomed the organization of interclub competitions.

Director Genaral sports khalid khan ` said that the sports directorate is trying to promote various sports and the main objective of Interclub Volleyball Championship is to bring forward new talent.

He further stated that new talent will be brought forward by organizing different level competitions. Twelve club teams are participating in this inter-club volleyball championship managed by Sports Directorate.its also mention that more then 12 club of peshawar particpating in interclub volley ball champion ship.

Cyclists hailing from all four provinces and Islamabad are gearing up for the three-day championship, with participation from various teams, including those from Pakistan Army, Higher Education Commission, WAPDA, and Railway.   The event, under the watchful eye of technical officials, boasts a distinguished lineup, featuring Colonel Retd Jahanzeb Niazi from Balochistan, Gul Muhammad Kakar from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nasir Khan Mohmand, and Amjad Nawaz Khan from WAPDA.
