Tehsil Balakot Inter-Union Council Cricket Tournament concludes

  UC Talatha won the champion trophy, DC Mansehra Captain Bilal Shahid Rao distributed the prizes.

 

Balakot... Tehsil Balakot Inter-Union Council Cricket Tournament has concluded. In the final, Tallahassee Union Council defeated Girlatt UC by five wickets to win the champion trophy.

In the final ceremony of the tournament, Deputy Commissioner Mansehra Captain Retired Bilal Shahid Rao was the chief guest while along with him Additional Assistant Commissioner Mrs. Basharat, District Sports Officer Faisal Javed and TM O Balakot were also present who gave trophies to both teams.

12 teams participated in the Inter-Union Council Cricket Tournament held in Tehsil Balakot of District Mansehra. In the final match played yesterday, there was a competition between the teams of Union Council Gerlat and Union Council Tarlatha.

 Batting first in the match of 10 overs, Gerlat's team scored 97 runs. By playing his reply, Union Council Talatha achieved the desired target with the loss of 5 wickets in the 7th overs. On the occasion of the final, Deputy Commissioner Mansehra, Captain (Rtd) Bilal Shahid Rao, who gave away trophies and prizes to the players who achieved prominent positions. A large number of people including Additional Assistant Commissioner Basharat and DS and Faisal Javed Samith were present with him.
