Directorate gives permission to contractor to remove garbage of tartan track

Peshawar...Sports Directorate Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has given permission to take out the tartan track to be demolished in connection with the reconstruction of Peshawar Sports Complex and the contractor has been informed that the tartan track to be taken out should now be kept in the Sports Directorate.

There is no need to take it out in the vehicle every evening. Earlier, the engineering wing of the department had stopped the lifting and carrying of debris from the tartan track and said that there is no need to lift the debris and it is against official rules.

According to this, the contractor was stopped from removing the debris of the tartan track, after which the management of the sports directorate also contacted the owners of various brick kilns to ask if they could sell the tartan track.

 If they want to take the debris they can take it but they have to pay but the kiln owners apologized and said that it is not in their interest so now the management has asked the contractor to pick up the tartan track debris on a daily basis. Because the sports directorate have no dumping site and it’s create issue for sports directorate.
