Lala Ayub Hockey Stadium, PSB contractor put bird net behind goal post

Due to players hitting the ball, the net is broken, it is possible that it will be completely broken by the end of this month.


Peshawar... The net built behind the goal of the Lala Ayub Hockey Stadium built by the Pakistan Sports Board in the Sports Directorate of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa became crooked due to weakness. 

The contractor of PSB has laid a net behind the goal post so that the hockey ball can be stopped. The newly installed nets are crooked due to non-standard. 

The net behind the goal post is not of the standard that was installed before and the net installed now is as weak as a bird's net. It is clear that Pakistan Sports Board managed the hockey turf here The supporter was busy with other works and the Canadian-born contractor got the contract and completed it in one year instead of six months. 

It has not yet been handed over to the provincial sports directorate. Yesterday, after the practice of the hockey players, the bird netting near the goal post became crooked. And it is possible that after a month of practice, this mesh will be completely damaged.
