Islamia College Peshawar's hockey turf development by installing drills to check filling

The soil was removed yesterday by drilling on one side to check the filling by the contractor


Peshawar... The contractor of Islamia College, which was built under the former Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan, drowned himself and drilled in several places to check the filling of his company. This incident happened last day. 

The responsible official stated that digging is being done to find out the filling of the hockey turf and they have not yet received the funds. While hockey is being played very little here. Islamia College, Peshawar University, Sports Directorate, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in the project of 1000 sports facilities, this project was built at a cost of more or less 12 million rupees, and it was inaugurated by the minister in September 2021. 

The game was played by Chief Minister Mehmood Khan, who also played hockey as a student at Islamia College Peshawar University.
