Despite coaching PSB Peshawar Center Squash failed to produce outstanding players for a decade

A coach named Adil was coaching privately, only squash players are allowed to play after reconstruction, reports

Peshawar...Despite having coached squash at PSB Peshawar Center for the past many years, no player from PSB Peshawar Center has been able to get a prominent place either in the provincial or national level competitions.

The academy, which was earlier being run privately under the supervision of a coach named Adil, also has several PSB squash coaches, but their duties are negligible and an official named Adil is in the Mohibullah Khan squash court of PSB.

He also used to give training in the evening on a daily basis for which the players used to pay him. A year ago, under the supervision of former DG Peshawar, Asif Zaman, the reconstruction process was started and Squash, Archery, Badminton and Judo players including volleyball were expelled in the name of reconstruction. At that time, on the protest of volleyball players, Asif Zaman told them in his visit to Peshawar that they will be allowed to practice after the work is completed, while archery players will be allowed to practice.

After the ban on the players, the PSB had taken a stand in the local court that the work would come after completion Richery will be allowed, but after the completion of the work, only squash players have been given an opportunity for training and training has been started here, but no player from this squash academy, which has been running for the past decade or so, has yet come to the provincial level. He has not been able to participate in national level competitions
