The year 2022-23 two quarters have passed, the competitions could not be held

 Peshawar...Different sports competitions of various districts under the management of the provincial sports ministry, including the merged districts, could not be organized and despite the passing of the  two quarter of the  year 2022-23, the district sports officers appointed in different districts failed to organize the sports competitions.

Provincial sports directorate has not yet released the funds to the association completely because the provincial sports ministry is also facing difficulties due to lack of funds. The sports directorate is very active, sponsorships worth crores of rupees are being paid by various government banks for these fairs organized in the name of sports competitions. 

The district sports officers are under the control of the district administration because of the non-release of funds for the last six months. are sitting and not doing any kind of sports activities in their areas. A similar situation is faced by the District Sports Officers of the merged districts who are also facing lack of funds.
