National Archery Championship, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa archers secured second position by winning silver medal

In the individual events, Israr ul Haque of Khyber won the second position of Pakistan, while Wajahat Ali of Peshawar won the sixth position.

Karachi... Israr ul Haque from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa secured second position in individual competitions in national archery championship and won silver medal. 

In the archery championship held in Karachi, thirty-five archers from all four provinces including the department participated, in which Isra Rul Haq, a member of the team from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, won the second position by defeating the top archer from Pakistan Army on the basis of points. \

The member of the same team, Wajahat Ali, won the sixth position in the individual competitions, thus two archers from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa joined the prominent archers in Pakistan. 

Israr-ul-Haq will represent Pakistan in the next year's international competitions as well. In the team event, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa team won the third position. Army won first, WAPDA second and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa third position in archery team competitions.
