Air pollution is being promoted by setting fire to sports directorate's dirt and garbage.

The Cantonment Board demanded two lakh rupees, Administrator Asad Khan's assurance of dirt removal through a private contractor.


Peshawar.. The process of removing the piles of dirt in the Provincial Sports Directorate has not ended and the officials have started burning the garbage of various offices and houses of residential quarters due to which the air pollution is spreading. 

WSSP was also contacted to remove the dirt piles of sports directorate Khyber Pakhtunkhwa located in the boundaries of Cantonment Board Peshawar, but they apologized for removing the dirt, while the Cantonment Board demanded an amount of two lakh rupees annually. 

It was said that for removing the dirt of the sports directorate, they have to spend two and a half million rupees, but the sports directorate showed inability to pay such a huge amount, after which the administrator Asad Khan has contacted the private contractor, who has collected the dirt for seventy thousand rupees. Regarding the removal of garbage of Peshawar Sports Complex, the administrator asad Khan is of the opinion that there has been a discussion with the contractor about the removal of dirt at a low price and the waste disposal of sports directorate will start soon.
