Govt is keen to promote tourism in KP, AD Junaid Khan

Peshawar .  Additional Secretary Tourism and Sports Junaid Khan has said that the tourism Department is making planning spread metallic roads, which connect Chitral, Hazara and Malakand Divisions aim to promote tourism in the province.

After a meeting with member of provincial assembly (MPA) PK-26 Abdul-Ghaffar, the AS said that Kohistan was beautiful resort for tourism, and its promotion the deptt is keen to construct roads in order to have smooth flow for the tourists without any hurdles.

Along with the Kohistan, he added there other beautiful places in merged districts of former Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), the government is trying to develop tourism in the region.

The MPA informed the AD that there dozens spots in Kohistan for tourism but unfortunate, there is no access of the tourists towards them because of dilapidated roads. He added there were several such places, through which, other tourist resorts of Malakand and Hazara divisions can easily be connected, so, the need district needs for chain of roads.

Junaid Khan assured the MPA that the government would spread a net of roads to easily connect the district with districts, and it would also help provision of employment in those tourist places.
