Faiq Shah urges govt to present next fiscal budget as per aspirations of masses

 

 

PESHAWAR,  ( Kikxnow ) Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party, Muhammad Faiq Shah has urged the government to present the upcoming fiscal budget as per aspirations and wishes of the masses, otherwise there will be strong mass agitation, resistance and outrage against IMF dictated budget.

 “No new levy to be imposed, while huge chunk of financing need to be allocated for education, health, agriculture and industry to give relief through the forthcoming budget to poverty stricken masses and generate further employment opportunities” , Faiq Shah said while addressing the party central leaders and office bearers here at the ATP secretariat on Thursday. 

 Showing grave concern over the current economic meltdown, the party chief criticized that the PTI led government had failed to materialize its promises made with the masses despite the passage of two years. He maintained successive governments' every-time deceived the people with their empty slogans. “No relief was passed on the inflation hit people of the reduced oil prices, '' he lamented.

 Aftermath of the unprecedented ‘price-hike’, health crisis, and the attack of locust swarm, he noticed new challenges have birthed agriculture production. He said the disappointing fact is that political point scorings are at peak despite prevailing circumstances.

 Faiq Shah said: “Government subordinate institutions and its subsidiary bodies have become redundant and not working effectively as their performance has been exposed amid covid-19 crisis. He said the institutions are shown inactiveness instead hitting miserably the country with great human catastrophe. 

 He noticed the danger of dengue virus is posing and looming in the country and no efforts have been initiated to timely control over the deadly virus, due to which many people died and affected during the last summer.

 ATP chief said if the government would present a disappointing budget, so the division and outrage will be further intensified among the masses. He praised the doctors and paramedics for their forefront role in combating the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) and demanded the government to announce special incentives and a package for them.

 He reiterated his resolve that his party will continue to fight and struggle for legitimate rights of masses and justice to them at every forum, besides we will create construction and positive awareness through the general masses.
