COVID-19 REACHED TO PESHAWAR PRISON

Peshawar (KikxNow) the miseries of Covid-19 continues and according to sources reached the Peshawar Prison. Asim Khan, prisoner at Peshawar Prison suspect of corona virus and move to quarantine room on 2nd of June. In addition Imran Khan Advocate moved a Writ Petition no. 2616/20 before Peshawar High Court to release accused Asim.

 

The details further added that the total Covid-19 positive cases are around 5 in barrack no. 19, saleem block. The security cell has been sealed for 14 days by authority. It has also been learnt that no adequate initiatives ate being taken by the authorities at Peshawar prison to follow and implement Covid-19 SOPs in the prison. In addition no sufficient quantity of face masks, prisoners, no sanitizers are available in the barracks
