PBBA demands open and Rs0.5m each to clubs

PESHAWAR, ( KikxNow )  Owners and coaches of different body building clubs have demanded of the government to open their clubs and give Rs0.5million to each club respectively.  

They demand was made during a protest demonstration here opposite cantonment Railway Station on Monday, president of District Peshawar Body Building Association (PBBA) Saeedur-Rahman was leading the protest.

The protesting body builders were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans in favour of their demands and also chanting their full-throat in slogans in this regard.

Talking to media persons, he said that there were 200 body building clubs in the district and mostly of them were on rented but due to corona virus, all of them have been closed for four months.

He said that owing closure of their clubs, they were unable to pay bills of various utility including electricity, rental fee and other expenditures and coaches of the clubs rendered jobless.

He said that along with their expenditure issues, a talent of body building was losing because they were several national and international mega events are on calendar, which are going to be taken place soon.

The protesting demonstrators, therefore, demanded opening of their clubs immediately so that their memoirs could prepare themselves for the tournaments and also Rs0.5million to each club so that they pay dues against them. The president ensured to fully implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in their in their exercised places and also threatened to extend protest in the whole city if their demands were not fulfilled within a week.
